What we do:

Birth through 22- speech and language services provided in our office located in Old Lyme, CT. Services provided in preschools, and daycares if appropriate. Accepts insurance: Tricare, BCBS, Aetna, and more!

Evaluations

Comprehensive evaluations in the areas of expressive, receptive, pragmatic language, AAC, articulation, phonological disorders, functional communication, fluency

Treatments

Individualized skilled intervention provided to each client based on their needs, and evidenced based research.

Consultations

Consultation, and contract services available to families and school districts as needed.

About Myself

Jaime O’Neil, M.S. CCC-SLP

About myself: I grew up in a small town in Southern VT. I moved to CT in 2017 to attend graduate school and never left! I love the shoreline, and anything to do with the beach and summer.

I’ve worked in a variety of settings such as skilled nursing, early intervention, schools, corrections, and outpatient clinics. In early 2024 I decided to take the leap of faith and open up my own practice- Guiding Light Speech Therapy. This has been the most exciting adventure! I love all things speech therapy and have experience with AAC, functional communication, social thinking, articulation, language and more!

I believe children learn best through PLAY, so speech therapy is always fun while simultaneously paired with learning!
